hello Grandpa!

Over the past 2 weeks, we have been very fortunate to have Grandma Werkman, and now Grandpa Werkman out here for a visit and to meet their newest little grandson Rory. We have all been very busy (despite the typical crazy weather that we are currently experiencing) working in the yard, playing, relaxing - well almost, and just enjoying time with everyone.

There has been lots (and I mean lots!) of story time cuddles with both Grandma and Grandpa Werkman. It's very rare to be able to sit quietly - and alone for that matter - in this house without someone jumping up to join you waving a book frantically in front of your face.

Grandma and Grandpa have also been able to hold down our crazy fort of all things loud and crazy, and Brent and I have managed to escape for a night out, and have plans this Saturday for an entire day away! Woohoo! Actually...we are heading off to the mountains for a friends wedding, but hopefully we'll be able to sneak in a coffee at one of our favourite places! I keep telling Grandma and Grandpa that it's all just the pre-preparations for an upcoming Europe trip! Ha ha! Maybe in a few years...but hey...it's in the works! These things require very advanced planning!
Anyways...we are so enjoying our visit time, and Maelle and I are looking forward to our big Ontario trip over the May long weekend where we'll be able to visit again!
