Well....if there is one good thing about chinooks (and only one!) that is the ability for just the right type of snow to create the year's first snowman. You see, what happened this past week is that we went from the frigid minus twenties and a snow storm that dumped almost a foot of snow, to a week later when we were outside in hoodies and the temps were hovering in the low teens in the sun. Not cool....no pun intended. At any rate, the kids made the most of it and go this little fella built.
Pretty snazzy eh? Now I will mention here that mere hours later a huge wind (yes, another chinook) blew in and by morning this guy was toppled over and his belongings were scattered all over the yard. The kids....slightly devastated yes, but hey, that's living in the west for ya!
