Actually, Maelle did quite well with her first attempt at painting, and we only had to wipe the walls down twice! Even though she painted with the wrong end of the brush, yes, her hands held the part with the paint, it was still great fun and good for a few of those late afternoon giggles!
Aidan was on hand to monitor the "little beginner" and continued to offer his input as to how painting should go. "Maelle....you dip your brush into the water first, then you choose a colour, then you put it on the paper. Don't worry if you get it on the floor, mommy will clean it up, and that is what the rag is for."
